The main principal activity of the project is having Synergie experts visit Tonga to conduct an analytical study on the overall Electricity generation in Tonga(on-grid and off-grid). This project will help equip the locals with the knowledge in stabilizing of the electricity grid under high renewable energy penetration, technical and institutional set up of minigrid and off-grid systems as well as recommentdations on the implementation of energy storage of win farm for mini grid in the outer islands. This project will also look into evaluation of waste and water management system for Tonga in the near future.
