The PALS Program is part of a broader package of multilateral climate change mitigation initiatives under Australia’s Fast start finance contribution. The Activity is to implement a Pacific standards and labelling (S&L) program for energy-using equipment such as fridges, air conditioners and lighting. The program would be aligned with the existing S&L programs such as that being jointly delivered in Australia and New Zealand.
